The Awkward Turtle
If there's anything that I've come to adore these past four years at this school its the mind of my awkward turtle. In the words of my best friend, "She tamed the Hurricane and brought it its calm center around a delicate flower". If looks could kill she'd be a paid assassin. The essence of her being, her personality, is something akin to that chocolate that you can't resist. Her soul is one of the most selfless I've seen and her mind the most enthralling. As cliche as it sounds a walk through hell seems an infinite times more appealing than having to forget about her for more than a movement. Sure we have our differences(a whole boatload) but nonetheless I wouldn't trade our friendship for all the insert ________(noun, verb, girls, here). There's nothing much to say except to watch us to learn exactly what I mean.

Book everyone should read
Its called the Catcher in the Rye. If you haven't already I suggest you obtain a copy and immerse yourself in the life of the young, rich, and aimless. The book is an excellent bildungroman novel with the most raw and universal combo theme of success/depression. Who isn't amused at inviting a hooker only to chat with the damsel? Disgusted by a friend who is indeed a pedophile. But perhaps the most hilarious truth to be gleamed is found in the following quote," The thing is, most of the time when you're coming pretty close to doing it with a girl, she keeps telling you to stop. The trouble with me is, I stop. Most guys don't. I can't help it. You never really know whether they want you to stop or whether they're just scared as hell, or whether they're just telling you to stop so that if you do go through with it, the blame'll be on you, not them. Anyway, I keep stopping. The trouble is, I get to feeling sorry for them"(The Catcher in the Rye, Ch. 13). lmao who can' t say that this doesn't happen, and more often how true this is?=) Pick up the book and you'll never put it down. Read the novel and you will be coming back sooner than later, because the truths stored within the pages are everchanging, and always there.
